Nicole Nigro assisted her first dance class in 2000 and immediately enjoyed sharing her love for movement. Since then Nigro has instructed dancers as young as 3 up to the age of 60. She feels honoured and humbled to share the studio with so many diverse souls and believes dance is a communicative force through which we can develop confidence, understanding, and connection. Nigro continually strives to bring generosity, skill, kindness, and joy into the classroom. She is grateful to have been a faculty member at Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre (CCDT), The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, and Balletomane, as well as educating with the Toronto District School Board as a workshop facilitator for Toronto Dance Theatre and CCDT. Nigro holds a Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies from the Royal Academy of Dance in London, England and is currently an MFA student at Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy. Nigro is a certified teacher of the Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS), developed by Scott Puttman. EBAS is a series of exercises designed for structural integrity and supported range of motion.
